Thanks for Celebrating With Us

Thanks for Celebrating With Us

Special thanks to everyone who made it out to our Helping Families Thrive Launch Party on November 20, 2018! More than 100 parents, service providers and adult allies came together to celebrate the completion of our Parents Matter Project.

The audiance was welcomed with an orchestrial performance by children from Sistema Toronto. Lee Soda, Executive Director of Agincourt Community Services Association, moderated the lunch reception. Ian Edward, chair of the Middle Childhoodhood Matters Coalition Toronto, gave an overview of the project and special thanks to Ontario Trillium Foundation for providing funding. Throughout the day participants enjoyed cupcake decorating, a photo booth, prizes, henna and much much more.

Canadian musician Jully Black closed the afternoon with a heartening speech and beautiful song. She had everyone laughing, moving and thinking deeply about the importance of child development.
