Healthy Nutrition Parent Learning Session at Dorset Park Community Hub

A Healthy Nutrition for Children 6 to 12 years old parent learning session was facilitated by an MCMCT parent leader for Syrian newcomer parents and took place on August 22, 2017.
This session was one of the most well-attended parent sessions facilitated by a Syrian parent leader who along with other parent leaders had been trained by the Hospital for Sick Kids on content delivery.
The session was held at Dorset Park Community Hub in Scarborough. 66 Syrian newcomer parents with children 6 to 12 years old had the chance to learn about healthy eating for this age group.
